Maria Bartiromo, an American journalist on television and the first to broadcast directly from the New York Stock Exchange floor live, is a highly acclaimed television personality with several popular programs. A broadcasting veteran with over 20 years of experience reporting about business and economy she was instrumental in the establishment of television channel CNBC as among top-rated within the economic and business segment. It's clear that her highly successful career being a reporter was meant to be for women. Yet as a young woman Maria was confused as to what career to pursue. Maria would one day want to be a musician and later an interior designer. After she learned about the excitement and thrills that journalism brings, there was nothing she could do but go. This feisty woman is not only an outstanding journalist but she's also an example for other women who strive to succeed in a male-dominated field. The award was given to her as one of the 50 Faces That Shaped the Decade she was also the first ever female journalist to be inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame. Along with being an author and columnist, Sheila is one of the 50 faces that shaped the Decade.

Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress for film television and on stage since the latter part of 1970. She has been a professional actor for 27 years. Her acting debut was on stage during an off-Broadway production of The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in the year 1990. The show was later adapted to her first role on television, The Perfect Tribute. The year was 1992 and she was enlisted as a supporting character in Basic Instinct. It marked the beginning of her impressive career. Then, in The Firm, she played the leading female character for the very first time. She was on the screen alongside Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. In the 90s, she worked with some of the biggest names in the field, such as Gwyneth Paltrow in Sliding Doors, Hugh Grant in Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews in Relative Values. In the international hit police procedural Crime Minds, the character of Dr. Alex Blake was recently performed by her.
