Chando lives in New York City. Chando was a student at Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando performed the role of Maddie Coleman, the lead character in As the World changes from 2005 to 2007, and then returned to her role for a brief duration of time that began in late 2009. Alexandra first came to prominence acting in 2002, as she played Jenna Harper on the TV Series House Blend. As the World Turns on CBS was her first television role after three years. In 2009, Chando got a role in the American documentary TV show True life and further appeared in the television series Sherri. She appeared in two episodes Glory Daze (an American comedy-drama series) as Annabelle. Her other television credits include Castle, Hindsight Dead People, and Outcast.
